Inland Voices for solo Alto Flute (2022) explore the employment of the flutist´s voice. When the sound of the flute and the voice is mixed, new sonorities and distant voices appeared. The subtlety is one of the most outstanding aspects of the piece. The singing and the flute gestures are maintained in a kind atmosphere looking for an oneiric sonority. The title Inland Voices is referred to unknown melodies not generated either by the flute or the voice that started to appear when this two world are merged.
